The party then helped Thops retrieve his notes from the Crystal Bunny in the crevice.

The party departed Firelink Shrine toward the Undead Shanty towns in order to track Kedo. Along the way they found the three Neds tied up as a trap by some strange half-dragon half-human hybrids. After saving them, the party helped guide them through the path back to the Undead Shanty. Along the way, the Neds told them about Captain Aereus who protects the town and how they look up to them.

Upon arriving at the shanty it was discovered that Aereus was none other than Kedo himself.
