Session-07 The Ceremony of Kindled Ash

Recap

The party joined a drinking game with some of the bar flies and the bar keep named Daddy Ned, Ted, Red and Jungle Ned. They barely bested the other group but came out victorious nonetheless winning a Horn of Spirit Calling.

After approaching Big Ned who was talking to Yoel of Londor, he scampered off leaving Baasilard alone with Yoel who encouraged him to seek out the Purifying Stone Garden in the Undead Settlement and bring back a Purifying Flower. He then offered fortunes to each of the party members telling:

  • Bedreid that an old friend was close
  • Baasilard that there was hope yet to save a jolly compatriot
  • Gronk that there was a future where his mentor wielded a lance of fire against the dark
  • Oedo that he saw a sibling wearing the crown and sitting on the throne of a king

Big Ned returned carrying a Named Soapstone containing his spirit (Big Ned’s Soapstone) and giving it to Baasilard and the gang . He stated he was not allowed to follow Baasilard out of the town so this was a compromise.

Oedo flower danced. Bedreid chatted with the Frog Prince, Regular Ned. Baasilard tried to drink Daddy Ned under the table. Gronk vibed out.

The party then finally met with Kedo who shared his theory that the man wearing Selune had set up base in the Undead Settlement and shared that the Bronze Knight Armor was still there. He then gifted the party armor and weapons to take with them on their journey to the Undead Settlement.
